Desert Essence was created from a universal earth consciousness to enhance the beauty of the individual without threatening the beauty of our planet or harming any living creature. We use all natural ingredients - such as organic plant extracts and essential oils - rather than petrochemical derived fragrances and prescriptive solutions. We limit the use of synthetics to ensure safe and effective product formulations.And because sometimes protecting the planet's beauty isn't enough, we use only recyclable plastic or glass bottles, cardboard and aluminum. Soy based inks are used for printing.
As manufacturers, we take responsibility to set an environmentally sound standard and use those ingredients which are not harmful to either the environment or the user. We have never used animals to test our products and we are against animal testing in any circumstance.
