The most common use of St John's Wort is in the treatment of depression. This action appears to be due to the herb's monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibiting activity, a function which has been shown to inhibit the breakdown of mood enhancing brain chemicals. St John's Wort has also been shown to possess anti-viral and anti- bacteriaI properties.

Standardised St. John's Wort Herb Powdered Extract (1mg [0.3%] total hypericins) 300mg, Raw St. John's Wort Herb Powder 100mg, PhytO2X ä (powdered blend of beta-carotene prep. and ascorbic acid). PhytO2X ä is a special blend of natural antioxidants, the purpose of which is to maintain the freshness of the ingredients.
Encapsulated with natural ingredients: vegetable magnesium stearate. Vegetable capsule shell: hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose.
Dosage: For adults one (1) vegetable capsule daily, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
