Description:
Pharma Nords Bio-Antioxidant is a composite nutritional supplement containing a range of antioxidant vitamins and minerals, together with other relevant micronutrients. These include as primary antioxidants: vitamin A (as retinal and beta-carotene), vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin E, and selenium; as secondary antioxidants: vitamins B1, B3, B5, zinc, manganese, and copper; as supplementary nutrients: vitamin B2, vitamin B12, folacin, biotin, vitamin D3, and magnesium. Bio-Antioxidant does not contain iron, which may exacerbate the effects of oxidative stress under certain circumstances. Because antioxidants act within the body in a synergistic (mutually supportive) manner, multiple supplements are more effective than large amounts of single antioxidants, hence the rationale for Bio-Antioxidant. Antioxidant levels may be depleted in individuals consuming a diet with a high content of convenience foods, or individuals undergoing vigorous physical exercise. |
Ingredients:
Each tablet of Pharma-Nord Bio-Antioxidant contains 750microgm (94%RDA) vitamin A (250microgm as retinal, 500microgm as beta-carotene), 200mg (333%RDA) vitamin C (as ascorbic acid), 2.5microgm (50%RDA) vitamin D (as cholecalciferol), 90mg (900%RDA) vitamin E (as d-alpha-tocopherol acetate), 3.9mg (279%RDA) vitamin B1 (thiamine), 5mg (312%RDA) vitamin B2 (riboflavin), 4.1mg (205%RDA) vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), 4.5microgm (450%) vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), 15mg (83%RDA) niacin (as nicotinic acid and nicotinamide), 200microgm (100%RDA) folacin (as folic acid), 0.1 mg (67%RDA) biotin, 7.5mg (125%RDA) pantothenic acid, 50mg (17%RDA) magnesium, 7.5mg (50%RDA) zinc, 75microgm (50%RDA) iodine, 62.5microgm selenium (as L-selenomethionine), 2mg manganese (as manganese gluconate), 1mg copper (as copper gluconate). |
