Citrisafe is a unique formulation, developed for all the family to provide support, especially when exposed to infections. Our immune system can be vulnerable to attack from bacteria and viruses at any time of the year. This all season formula of bioflavonoids, hibiscus and culinary herbs can offer added protection, particularly for the respiratory and digestive tracts. The powder from the flowers and roots of the hibiscus plant is usually drunk as a reviving tea and has been found to contain beneficial flavonoids and proanthocyanidins. It is considered a general tonic and, because of its astringent properties, can also support the respiratory tract when excess mucous is a problem. The culinary herbs rosemary, Spanish sage, Spanish wood marjoram and conehead thyme have health giving properties as well as good flavours and are known to assist in the body’s immunity.
Ingredients:
Water, glycerine, hibiscus, bioflavonoids, rosemary, Spanish sage, Spanish wood marjoram, conehead thyme, natural vanilla and grapefruit flavourings, citric acid,malic acid and vitamin C.
Dosage: Take 1 teaspoon (5ml) once daily (adults and children over 12 years), 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) once daily (children 8-11 years), 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) once daily (children 3-7 years), between meals. Can be taken straight from the spoon or added to water or juice. Sweeten with ZyloSweet or sugar if extra sweetness is desired.
