Solgars ABC Dophilus Powder is a selective, scientific blend of essential and beneficial "friendly bacteria" specially formulated for the infant and child. Bifidobacteria constitute the predominant healthy intestinal microflora in infants, children and adults and primarily reside in the large intestine. Recently, other strains such as S. thermophilus, together with Bifidobacteria, have demonstrated positive effects on the health and maintenance of intestinal ecology. In addition, Solgar's ABC Dophilus Powder mixes instantly with infant formula, milk, juice or water or can be sprinkled on foods.
Ingredients:
Each one quarter (1/4) teaspoonful (approx. 1.75g) provides:
Powdered probiotic cultures
Providing 1/2 billion live microorganisms consisting of the following beneficial strains:
B infantis150 million microorganisms
B lactis.175 million microorganisms
S thermophilus.175 million microorganisms
With these natural ingredients: maltodextrin, silicon dioxide.
Dosage: As a food supplement for infants and children, 1/4 (0.75g) to one 1/2 (1.5g) teaspoonful daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
