Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D from Solgar
Description:
Calcium is the body's most abundant mineral. Its primary function is to help build and maintain bones and teeth, which it does in co-operation with Phosphorus. In addition, Calcium aids in the process of blood clotting and in the control of the passage of fluids through the cells. It is also related to the proper functioning of the heart and neuromuscular system. Vitamin D is an important factor in calcium absorption.
Ingredients:
Four (4) tablets provide: Calcium (citrate) 1000mg, Vitamin D (ergocalciferol prep. 400iu) 10ug. Tableted with these natural ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, vegetable gum, vegetable glycerin.
Dosage:
As a food supplement for adults, two (2) to four (4) tablets daily, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
