Efalex contains the specific long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids DHA and AA which are important building blocks of the brain, nervous system and eye. It also contains EPA and GLA whic are fatty acids involved in the production of prostaglandins - hormone like substances which are involved in the transmission of messages between nerves. Efalex has been
scientifically developed for: children and adults in a learning environment especially for children and adults with a low dietry intake of long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids.
Ingredients:
One teaspoon ( 5 ml ) provides: Vitamin E 20mg/30iu, Fish Oil 588mg (providing DHA 120mg, EPA 33 mg, AA 10.5 mg), Evening Primrose Oil 280mg (providing GLA 24mg), Thyme Oil 2mg.
Dosage: Adults and children aged 5 years and over: Two teaspoons ( 10 ml ) daily with food. Children aged 2-5 years: One teaspoon ( 5 ml ) with food. The amounts may be taken half in the morning and half in the evening.
