5-HTP short of 5-hydroxytryptophan is a derivative of the amino acid tryptophan and is converted, in the brain, into the neurotransmitter serotonin which influences everything from appetite, to mood, to sleep. Lamberts use a natural source, extracted from the seeds of Graffonia simplicifolia.

Each tablet provides L-5-Hydroxytryptophan 100mg (natural extract from the seeds of Griffonia simplicifolia)
Ingredients: DiCalcium Phosphate, Calcium Carbonate, Cellulose, L-5-Hydroxytryptophan, Tablet coating (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, colour: titanium dioxide, glycerin), silicon dioxide, stearic acid, magnesium stearate.
Dosage: Take up to 3 tablets daily, half an hour befoer meals or half an hour before bedtime. Start on one tablet and increase as necessary, or as directed by a practitioner.
