Pea Protein from Lamberts Healthcare Ltd
Description:
Lamberts are pleased to launch pea protein which is a protein product sourced from peas. This product is rich in branched chain amino acids (leucine, isoleucine and valine) and is richer in arginine than any other commerically available protein. Arginine is involved in the immune systems response to challenges and also plays a part inweight control. It may also help those with low appetites and those recovering from illness.
Ingredients:
Typically 20g daily serving (Two heaped dessert spoons): L-Glutamic Acid 3100mg, L-Lysine 1170mg, L-Leucine 1300mg, L-Arginine 1390mg, L-Valine 800mg, L-Methionine 183mg, Glycine 629mg, L-Isoleucine 715mg, L-Phenylalanine 860mg, L-Threonine 600mg, L-Aspartic Acid 1910mg, L-Alanine 670mg, L-Tyrosine 600mg, L-Histidine 410mg, L-Proline 630mg, L-Cysteine 170mg, L-Serine 860mg, L-Tryptophan 150mg.
Dosage:
A 20g portion is generally recommended. Up to two 20g portions can be taken per day. The powder can be added to soup or sprinkled on cereal. It can also be blended with fruit such as a banana to make a fruit smoothie.
