Description:
Valerian is effective as a nerve relaxant and sedative, and as such it is used for insomnia, irritability and tension. Fortunately, it has not been shown to have the side effects, habit-forming nature or grogginess upon waking often associated with tranquillising drugs. Valerian is also antispasmodic, and may be of value in the intestinal spasms that occur in irritable bowel syndrome.
Ingredients:
Each vegetable capsule provides: Raw Valerian Root Powder 300mg,
Standardised Valerian Root Extract (1mg [0.8%] valerenic acid) 150mg.
PhytO2X ä (powdered blend of beta-carotene prep. and ascorbic acid). PhytO2X ä is a special blend of natural antioxidants, the purpose of which is to maintain the freshness of the ingredients. Encapsulated with natural ingredients: vegetable magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose. Vegetable capsules shell: hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose.
Dosage: For adults one (1) to three (3) vegetable capsules daily, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
