Japanese Samurai warriors traditionally ate Ume (Japanese plum) for fatigue. In China, Ume was traditionally eaten for healthy digestion and heart. Umeboshi plums, still popular in Japan today, are dried and pickled ripe Ume.
Ume is thought to support immunity and support a healthy heart and arteries and blood circulation. It is a potent antioxidant and may protect against excess free radicals which contribute to premature ageing. Ume may support gall bladder health and bile secretion. Ume contains alkalising properties to help maintain blood and tissue alkaline balance.
The juice of whole, unripe, hand-picked Japanese plums is concentrated to produce 50:1 Ume extract.
Ingredients:
15 pearls typically provide: 1.75g Japanese Ume plum extract 50:1 (whole unripe fruit). 1.75g Japanese Ume plum extract 50:1 (whole unripe fruit).
Dosage: Adults take up to 15 pearls (children 4-7 years, take 3 pearls, children 8-12 years, take 5 pearls) a day with water, after breakfast or lunch.
