It is necessary for growth, development and maintenance of bones and teeth in adults and children, In its active form, vitamin D works with calcium to control bone formation. Vitamin D is unique, in that man and animals normally obtain it from two sources: the spontaneous formation in the skin by the sun via a photo-chemical reaction in the epidermis, and the eating of a food that contains vitamin D.

Vitamin D (from fish liver oil 1000 iu) 25mcg
Dosage: As a food supplement for adults, one (1) softgel capsule daily, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a health care practitioner.
