Natures Aid Serrapeptase tablets are enteric coated to allow them to pass safely through the stomach before dissolving.
Serrapeptase is described as a proteolytic enzyme and as such is able to digest certain types of protein. Amazingly, the enzyme only attacks certain forms of dead tissue such as cysts, arterial plaque and scar tissue. Studies have also revealed powerful anti-inflammatory effects of this enzyme without the inhibitory effects on prostaglandins (localised hormones) exhibited by pharmaceutical anti-inflammatory drugs.
Serrapeptase helps inflammatory conditions particularly Crohns disease, colitis and Cystitis and can also be used for pain reduction. Osteo-arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis have all shown improvement with Serrapeptase, due to its ability to block the release of pain-inducing amines from inflamed tissues.
Ingredients:
One tablet provides Serrapeptase(Serratiopeptidase) 10mg providing 20,000iu of activity.
Dosage: One to three tablets per day on an empty stomach
