Evening Primrose Oil and starflower (borage) oils are rich natural sources of the important unsaturated fatty acid gamma linolenic acid (GLA). It may be chosen by people wanting to maintain a healthy skin and by women premenstrually to assist monthly discomfort or during the menopause. Evening Primrose Oil with Starflower Oil 500mg is ideal for those who prefer a smaller capsule size. The capsules are gelatin-free and contain a guaranteed 60mg of GLA. Whilst the body can produce GLA from the conversion of the parent fatty acid of the omega-6 family, linoleic acid, the conversion isn’t always very efficient, so a dietary source of GLA can be useful.
Ingredients:
Each capsule provides: Vitamin E 10mg, Evening Primrose Oil and Starflower Oil 500mg, Providing Gamma Linolenic Acid 60mg. Other Ingredients: Capsule Shell (Modified Starch, Glycerol, Gelling Agent: Carageenan, Acidity Regulator: Disodium Phosphate)
Dosage:
1 to 4 capsules daily with a meal.
