Butyric Acid Complex from Biocare
Description:
Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid that is used as a fuel source by the cells lining the intestinal tract and is thus essential to maintain the health and integrity of the intestinal wall. Butyric acid is normally produced by the breakdown of fibres contained in wholefoods, fruits and vegetables by intestinal bacteria. However, in cases where low levels of intestinal bacteria are present or when a low fibre diet is consumed, production of butyric acid can be reduced.
Ingredients:
each vegcap provides Calcium Butyrate 425mg ( elemental calcium 51mg ), Magnesium Butyrate 325mg ( elemental magnesium 39mg ), Glycerol Dilaurate (lauric acid) 74mg.
Dosage:
One capsule taken three times per day with food
