Yamcon Vaginal Cream DISCONTINUED from Forever Young

Yamcon is a natural product whose active ingredient is derived from the wild Mexican yam Dioscorea Villosa. Wild Mexican Yam has been used by herbalists for centuries because it seems to alleviate the symptoms of menopause and PMS that are brought about by hormone imbalance. Wild Mexican Yam contains a very high concentration of a substance called diosgenin which has a very similar molecular structure to progesterone - one of the two female sex hormones. Diosgenin seems to ‘lock-on’ to the hormone receptors in the body creating a progesterone-like effect and helping restore hormone balance. Diosgenin is used to manufacture many hormones used in contraceptive pills and HRT treatments including nature-identical and synthetic progesterones.
