Fucoxanthin
Fucoxanthin is one of our most exciting products and was featured in the Metro last year.
Fucoxanthin is a compound that is found in several different types of seaweed.
When scientists studied fucoxanthin in the laboratory they found that fucoxanthin had a unique quality that is a catalyst to successful weight loss.
Japanese researchers recently identified seaweed as an unlikely weapon in the war against obesity. They found that rats given fucoxanthin – a pigment in brown kelp – lost up to 10% of their body weight, mainly from around their midriffs. This led researchers to believe that the pigment could be developed into a slimming pill. (Extracted from the Times Online September 23, 2007)
Fucoxanthin was found to boost metabolism and metabolise fat (especially the fat in the belly area) through a thermogenic effect. Instead of boosting metabolism by over-stimulating the central nervous system like other fat burners, Fucoxanthin works differently by specifically targeting fat burning in the abdominal region.
Fucoxanthin also contains Pomegranate, Hoodia and Green Tea
Pomegranate not only has many health benefits but it can also be useful in helping people with weight loss, because it is natural and it cleanses and provides energy to the body.
Green tea has helped aid weight loss by increasing the metabolic rate, causing those who use it to experience greater calorie burn and helps to slow the rise in blood sugar following a meal.
Hoodia is an entirely natural appetite suppressant. It works by effectively fooling the brain into thinking that it’s already full, even if you’ve barely eaten a thing.

| Coconut Oil |
Despite being rich in saturates, coconut oil helps to boost metabolism because it’s made of medium chain triglycerides (rather than long chain triglycerides), which burn more quickly in the body. This helps speed up weight loss when combined with a low-carb diet. It may also help to reduce sugar cravings and may improve symptoms of digestive disorders known to promote smooth & supple skin.

| Super Slimming Tea |
This potent blend was used traditionally in China to help promote cleansing, detoxification, and digestion. Senna and malva verticillata were used to promote cleansing herbology. It was used to tonify the stomach and spleen, and to augment and harmonize the action of the other herbs. Persimmon and papaya were used to support healthy stomach function and digestion. Orange and tangerine peels were used to help relieve occasional indigestion and bloating, and were said to move stagnant "chi". Orange peel (Citrus aurantium) was known as an energy "chi" regulator.
